South African award-winning musician and performer **Makhadzi** has once again made the nation proud by winning the **Best Dancer Award** at the **2025 Trace Awards** held in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The *Ghanama* hitmaker took to social media to celebrate her achievement, thanking her fans, known as the *Khadzinators*, for their unwavering support.

The Trace Awards, held at the Mora Resort in Zanzibar on **2 February 2025**, celebrated the best in African and diaspora music. Makhadzi’s electrifying dance moves and stage presence earned her the coveted **Best Dancer Award**, solidifying her status as one of Africa’s most dynamic performers.

  


In an Instagram post, Makhadzi expressed her gratitude, writing:  

*“Congratulations Khadzinators 🎉🥂🍾, GOD DID! YOU MADE IT FOR ME. BLESSINGS ON TOP OF BLESSINGS, we started our beautiful year with a BIG achievement. Thank you for your love and support ❤️. @traceawards thank you for making sure we shine like sunflowers 🌻 all the time 🕰️. I traveled 9 hours to fetch it and I found it clean and beautiful.”*

- **Song of the Year**: The unstoppable duo **Tito & Yuppe** won for their chart-topping anthem *Tswhala Bam*, a global dancefloor sensation.  

- **Best Artist Southern Africa**: Hitmaker **Tyler ICU** was recognized as the region’s most influential artist of the year.
